Quality and Approvals

SC21 Programme
Stadium IGT signed up to the SC21 programme in April 2011. Measuring their delivery and quality performance to companies within the nominated sectors demonstrates 97.6% on time delivery and 99.9% quality performance in a rolling 12 month period. In June 2012 IGT Industries Ltd achieved the Bronze Recognition Award which was presented at the Farnborough Airshow in July 2012.
Gordon Webb, Stadium IGT’s SC21 coordinator, says “This award could not have been achieved without the commitment from both Senior Management and production personnel. Only by working together and adopting lean manufacturing techniques will we continue to make further improvements in our business”.
SC21 companies are committed to working together through the two key streams of Performance, and Development and Quality to improve efficiency and productivity, remove duplication and lower overheads and costs.
The SC21 programme commits companies to achieving high performance in both Business Excellence and Manufacturing Excellence. Combined with common performance metrics for Quality and Delivery, the results of the programme will be a leaner and more effective organisation delivering win/win results within the UK supply chain.
SC21 companies recognise that sustained success in our industry requires collaborative working and positive relationships in all directions. Using the SC21 relationship code of practice companies can identify the level of relationship needed and objectively focus upon the areas that need improvement.
Organisations achieving and maintaining agreed criteria in terms of delivery, quality, sustainable improvement and the associated improvement frameworks (business and manufacturing excellence) receive recognition in the form of a bronze, silver or gold award sponsored by an SC21 company, regional partner or A|D|S.
